ARCHITECTURE. INTERIORS. PRODUCTS.
It’s lyth!
Like a joint that binds and supports movement, we at lyth hope to link and bring the world together with design. Be it architecture, interiors, a product, art or just a simple graphic, the boundaries of design are limited only by the power of imagination. The aspiration at lyth is for the spirit of design to conquer all limitations and soar to its fullest potential.
The magic is in the details. This philosophy is the central focus of our studio, which sets us apart.
We at lyth believe:
- The answer is always simple.
- Every decision is a conscious choice.
- Every design needs to start with a story.
We look forward to lything up your story!

Meet the Founder
Apoorva Shroff
Apoorva is one of India’s most promising architects with over 20 years of work and project experience across USA and Asia. Her work has featured in Architecture Digest, the centrefold of the Mint Lounge, the covers of Elle Décor & numerous global portals. Forbes India has described her work as "One of a Kind". One of her most recent projects, Airavat, a home in the clouds, was nominated as a finalist at the prestigious World Architecture Festival, 2021.
With a Masters in Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles, her tryst with design started from her artistic enquiries as a child. Her style was further defined during her professional stint in Manhattan, where she worked with NYC’s leading urban design firm Cooper Robertson and Partners.
Apoorva returned to India in 2006 as a partner at reD, and was instrumental in building the then young firm, along with the founder architects to the leading practice that it is. Over the years, she has designed prominent office spaces and homes for marquee clients across India and China, including Softbank, ChrysCapital, General Atlantic, The Jindals etc.
Apoorva frequently mentors at BSSA, Mumbai’s most popular school for Architecture.

“Apoorva did a fantastic job with, what I would say, was a difficult brief. We needed an office space that looked thoroughly professional yet had a strong aesthetic, warm, welcoming feel. Apoorva pulled it off with meticulous planning and sharp execution incorporating all our demands. We couldn't have been happier with the end product.”

“When I first saw some of the offices Apoorva designed, it was love at first sight! She is an incredibly talented designer/ architect and her designs are always unique and visually stunning. She even handles all the details from selecting furniture, accessories, artwork, etc. She’s very easy to work with and genuinely cares for her clients. I only wish I had more offices to give her to design for me.”

“Years ago when I spent a day in your home, I chanced upon a model of a house you had created for a school project. I knew then that one day you will be a superb architect. You have proven yourself!”

“Her buildings remind you of Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe and her interiors remind you of William Morris. That is saying something unusual at a minimum. But the statement is in large measure true. Apoorva Shroff has emerged as an intriguing talent on the Indian scene. And that is again an important point. Despite all her international cosmopolitanism, Apoorva is very Indian. She is young and it remains to be seen how her style evolves. I am not an astrologer and will not try to predict. But as someone interested in the continuing saga of buildings and interiors in India, I can only wish her well. Go Apoorva!”
